Animated Short Films

These are the short films I completed during my time studying animation. I graduated with a BA (Hons) in Animation at UCA Farnham, UK (then called Surrey Institute of Art & Design) from 2003-2006, and I also completed the intensive one-year Computer Animation program at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario, Canada.

The Message (2010)

On a stormy night at home alone, a woman is paid a visit by someone with an important message.

3D animated in Maya; 2D hand-drawn animation edited in with After Effects.

The Seamstress (2006)

A young victorian seamstress, suffering from illness, doesn't understand why her friend is ignoring her.

This was my final year project for the BA (Hons) Animation program at UCA Farnham, UK and was hand-drawn with ink & watercolour on paper, with some aspects completed digitally in Adobe Flash.

Tangled Hair (2005)

An old man and his river.

2D animation with ink wash on paper; completed during my second year at UCA Farnham, UK.

Queen of the Crows (2004)

Why young ladies shouldn’t eat roadkill.

This was my first proper animated short and has always been my favourite. Completed during my first year at UCA Farnham - 2D animation using ink on paper.
